Mission : Artecel will become the dominant provider of adipose-derived stem cell (ASC) banking services, and the dominant developer of therapeutic products derived from ASCs. On a case by case basis, Artecel will also develop certain high-value drug discovery and research tools derived from ASCs.   Approach: Artecel is developing products and services in two major lines of business: cell banking of ASCs , and therapeutic products made from ASCs for orthopaedic and dental applications, and soft tissue and cosmetic applications. Artecel is also developing certain applications of ASCs in high-value drug discovery and research tools to be used in liver toxicity testing. Based upon the Company’s experience with the toxicology product line, the Company will consider expanding into other high-value tools applications, such as cardiovascular and neural toxicity applications.
